Privacy Policy

JeuDerm USA (operated by JD Yuversity, Miami, Florida — "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through jdyuversityusa.com (shop, course pages and enquiry forms) and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

• Order information: name, email address, shipping address and phone number, provided when you place an order.
• Payment information: payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details on our servers.
• Enquiry and enrolment information: when you contact admissions, join a waitlist or reserve a place, we collect your name, email, phone, country, profession and what you are interested in. This is how we advise you on the right program.
• Device data: your browser stores your shopping bag and wishlist locally (localStorage). We use basic analytics to understand site usage.
• Chat and social messages: when you write to us through the chat on this website, Instagram, Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp, we receive your messages, your name or username as shown on that platform, your profile picture if the platform shares it, and anything you choose to tell us (for example an order number, an email or a phone number).

Our chat assistant

Messages sent to us by chat are first answered by an assistant that uses artificial intelligence, so you get a reply at any time. If you prefer a person, just ask and a member of our team will continue the same conversation. The assistant never asks for card details, passwords or identity documents.

• Your conversation is stored in our customer service inbox (Chatwoot), hosted on a server we manage, so our team can read it and follow up.
• To write its replies, the assistant sends the text of the conversation to our AI provider, Anthropic. Anthropic processes it only to generate the reply and does not use it to train its models.
• When a conversation needs a person, the team receives an internal alert with a short extract of the last message.
• Please do not share health details you would not want stored. For medical questions, talk to your doctor.

2. How we use your information

• To process and deliver your orders and send order updates.
• To respond to your questions via email or WhatsApp, and to advise you on programs and dates.
• To manage your enrolment, your place in a program and your access to online course material.
• To send our newsletter — only if you subscribe, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

3. Sharing

We never sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers needed to run the shop and the academy:

• Stripe — payments and payment records.
• Shipping carriers — delivery of physical orders.
• Zoho CRM and Notion — where your enquiry or enrolment is recorded so our team can follow up.
• Meta — when you submit a form or complete a purchase, we send Meta a server-side event so we can measure which advertising works. The identifying fields in that event (such as your email) are hashed before they leave our server, and it is sent only where you have consented to marketing.
• Chat providers: Chatwoot (our inbox, on a server we manage), Anthropic (AI replies) and, when you write from social media, Meta (Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp) and ManyChat, which deliver the messages.
• Email delivery — to send your confirmations and, if you subscribed, our newsletter.

4. Data retention & your rights

We keep order records as required for tax and accounting purposes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to info@jdyuversityusa.com. We keep chat conversations while we need them to answer you and to follow up on your order or enquiry. To delete your chat or social media data, follow the steps on our data deletion page.

5. Cookies

The shop uses functional browser storage (bag, wishlist, session preferences). No advertising cookies are set without your consent.
